NYCMate is the ultimate NYC companion. On both the iPhone and Android, it is the first free, multi-platform mobile application that has everything an NYC-er needs to get around, or out of, the city.

Utilizing officially licensed MTA maps, NYCMate includes the map of the New York City subway, all five borough bus maps, the Metro North Railroad map, and the map of the Long Island Railroad.

NYCMate jumped to the front page of the Apple App Store in the "New and Noteworthy" category within the first two weeks of launch, confirming it is the new standard in transportation applications.

Customizable Tab Bars

A completely custom tab bar gives users the ability to access desired maps quickly and easily, and creates a custom experience no other NYC transit app provides. By dragging and dropping selected maps into the tab bar, the user can access them with just one touch while the rest of the maps are hidden for easy access.

Train Timetables and Line Routes

Using either an MTA map or a street view map, users can pinpoint their exact location, the closest train station and line, and view correlating timetables. This feature is particularly helpful for commuters riding on the Metro-North or LIRR.

Routing and Directions

The Current Location feature allows the user to save and store locations, making getting around quicker and easier. The app also allows the user to receive precise directions whether the user is traveling by subway or a commuter train. The suggested route is then accompanied by a time table, taking the guess work out of catching the right train.

Service Alerts

The service alerts are updated in real time so users know what lines to avoid or when their train is actually on time.
